Gallon 44 Chair

Recycled 44 gallon drum chair, sprayed in red duco.

Made specifically for a competition for the Western Cape Furniture design competition.
The theme of the competition is seating with a 'shack chic' flavour.

The finalists furniture will be displayed at the Design Indaba Expo 2011, from 25th to the 27th February 2011 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

The competition is presented by the Western Cape Furniture initiative and the Forestry Industry Education and Training Authority, The department of Economic Development and Tourism, in conjunction with, the bargaining council for the furniture manufacturing industry of the Western Cape, and the Furniture Technologies Training Centre in Cape Town.
